Paris-headquartered venture capital firm and retail fund manager Truffle Capital has hired Olivier Streichenberger (pictured) as listed securities manager.
Streichenberger, who will be part of the firm’s investment committee, will monitor listed companies in the portfolio and examine new investments in listed companies.
Prior to joining Truffle Capital, he worked as head of Corporate Finance Sales and Syndication for the French branch of Dexia group.
Streichenberger created the Corporate Finance Sales team for Dexia in France, which was the Small & Mid Cap E.C.M. team in France from 2010 to 2013.
He held positions such as global macro fund manager and also handled IPOs for groups such as EDF Energie Nouvelle and health companies like Adocia and Nanobiotix.
Formerly, Streichenberger worked for the CM-CIC group where he managed equities and derivatives portfolios in Europe and Asia.
Founded in 2001, Truffle Capital has €700m of assets under management and advisory, as of December 31, 2014, mostly via institutional and retail private equity funds (FPCIs and FCPIs). It focuses on investments in companies developing breakthrough technologies and products in the sectors of information technology and life sciences.
