The Fund Distributors & Selectors 2016 Sweden report published by TNS Sifo Prospera has ranked Carnegie Fonder first among distributors and selectors active in the Swedish market, for the second year in a row.

Along with Lannebo Fonder (second place) and Catella Fonder (fourth place), local managers took three out of the top five positions. BlackRock (third) and JP Morgan (fifth) were the international brands with highest visibility according to the methodology.

Some 51 sources were surveyed for the results, including insurance companies, private banking firms, and fund selectors and advisers. They were asked their views on areas such as fund development, management processes, sales staff competencies, fund administration, product information and brand.

The research was undertaken by TNS Sifo Prospera in October and November 2016.

Rank Score Name

2 3.78 Lannebo Fonder
3 3.62 BlackRock

The results mirror the same survey carried out a year ago (http://www.investmenteurope.net/regions/swedendenmarkfinlandnorway/carnegie-fonder-tops-tns-sifo-prospera-ranking/ ) when Carnegie Fonder also topped the rankings.

Hans Hedström, CEO of Carnegie Fonder, said the results of the survey indicated that “increasing numbers appreciate Carnegie Fonder’s investment philosophy – focused value investing.”
