Amundi has appointed Fabrice Bay as a senior portfolio manager in its global equity team. He will be based in London and report to Nicholas Melhuish, head of Global Equities.
Prior to joining Amundi, Fabrice worked as an investment manager in international equities at Martin Currie. Between 2008 and 2012, he was a hedge fund manager at GLG Partners.
Formerly, he held two different roles within Deutsche Wealth & Asset Management, as a senior equity portfolio manager in Frankfurt and as chief investment officer in Paris, running a team of eight fund managers.
From 2001, he worked as a portfolio manager for Putnam Investments in Boston for five years. Prior to that, he also worked as a European equity strategist at Deutsche Bank, a European investment manager at Lombard Odier and as a French equity fund manager at Banque Indosuez.
He began his career in 1989 at KPMG Audit.
Amundi manages €950bn in assets as at 30 June 2015.
