Pioneer Investments has launched Pioneer Innovazione Attiva, an Italian domiciled fund of funds investing in liquid alternatives.
The fund is targeted at the company’s private banking clients interested in increasing their capital through a multi-sector approach.
Pioneer Innovazione Attiva will use strategies seeking alpha generation while ensuring a limited correlation to the fluctuations of the markets by combining quantitative and qualitative analyses.
The portfolio will invest primarily in funds that adopt non-traditional investment strategies, which are characterized by high liquidity and high transparency of portfolio holdings.
“Pioneer Innovazione Attiva will benefit from Pioneer Investments’ expertise in alternative strategies developed in global markets, such as in Trading, Long/Short Equity, Credit and Event Driven strategies.
“With this new fund of funds we are offering private banking clients a different approach to the traditional one, and we aim to meet the needs of a wide range of investors thanks to the experience of our investment teams, “said Cinzia Tagliabue (pictured), CEO of Pioneer Investments Italy.
The fund is managed by the Pioneer Investments’ team specialised in alternative investments led by Richard Berger.
