Feri Trust has expanded its institutional client team with the appointment of Ahmet Peker and will be responsible within the Feri Group for investment management, investment consulting and investment research.
Peker will expand business relationships with companies and corporate pension funds in Germany. He will intensify existing customer relationships and further expand Feri Trust’s core services in the liquid multi-asset area and alternative investments (hedge funds, private equity, infrastructure and real estate) for institutional investors.
Prior to this, Peker worked for Deka Investment for over 10 years. He was senior portfolio manager for the management of umbrella hedge funds and multi-asset factor premium strategies. He was responsible for the management of institutional mandates and mutual funds. Before that, Peker was a consultant at Ernst & Young. He has been a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) since 2009 and since 2015 has been the honorary head of the Germany Chapter of the CAIA Association.
“Ahmet Peker has a deep understanding of investment concepts and the needs of institutional investors. At FERI, we want to continuously expand the range of innovative solutions, especially in the field of factor premiums and alternative sources of return, and to expand the team for institutional clients,” said Andreas Kuschmann, managing director of Feri Trust.
