French boutique Cogefi Gestion announced the appointment of Benjamin Rousseau as head of European Small & Mid Caps.
He will be a portfolio manager on the Cogefi Prospective and Cogefi Chrysalide funds. Rousseau will report to Hugues Aurousseau and Anne d’Anselme, respectively chairman and deputy CEO of Cogefi Gestion.
Rousseau succeeds Barthelemy Debray who joined Lombard Odier as global equities portfolio manager in January 2018.
Rousseau joins from CM-CIC where he started his career in 2007 as sell-side analyst within CM-CIC Securities before joining CM-CIC Asset Management in 2011.
There he held buy-side analyst and portfolio management roles on European and French small and mid caps.
