Polis Fondi SGR has launched Fondo Asset Bancari III, a new fund for bank assets, as part of a pre-existing series which collects 13 institutional investors.

Polis Fondi SGR has launched Fondo Asset Bancari III, a new fund for bank assets, as part of a pre-existing series which collects 13 institutional investors.

Asset Bancari III has already posted €100m in equities with its first closing, which will allow further investments for €250m. A further closing is expected to happen by the end of the year and is expected to collect subscriptions for amounts between €30m and €60m.

Among the fund’s subscribers are Gruppo BPER, SanFelice 1893 Banca Popolare, Credito Valtellinese, Cassa di Risparmio di Cesena, BCC Cernusco sul Naviglio, Banco di Desio e della Brianza, Cassa di Risparmio di Rimini, Cassa di Risparmio di Savigliano, Civileasing (Gruppo Banca Popolare di Cividale) and Banca Medio Credito del Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Together with Asset Bancari I and II, both launched in 2012 attracting 13 subscribers to date, Asset Bancari III has managed to bring together 22 banks.
