Swedish boutique Lannebo has appointed Johan Nilke as the new manager of its Lannebo Vision equity fund, starting by end March/beginning of April.
Nilke joins from Öhman Fonder, where he was responsible for the Öhman Global Growth equity fund. He has over a decade of experience.
The Vision fund has been part of Lannebo’s stable since the firm was launched some 17 years ago. It is an actively managed equity fund that invests in growth industries globally, but with an emphasis on the US. Key sectors include technology, telecommunications, health, internet and media.
In recent years it has been managed by Claes Murander. He has also managed the provider’s nano/microcap funds, but going forward he will focus exclusively on the latter.
Martin Öqvist, CEO, said the appointment of Johan Nilke would facilitate a particular manager focus on the portfolio although there would still be frequent exchange of ideas and experiences across the team.
