Deutsche Asset Management has appointed Daniel Gálvez as new head of Real Estate for Iberia.
Gálvez (pictured), who joined Deutsche AM in 2013, has been working for more than 17 years in the real estate sector running a wide variety of international projects for property companies, financial institutions and investment funds.
He joins from commercial property investment firm APN Property Group, where he served most recently as managing director for Germany, Italy and Spain.
Prior to this, he worked for Santander Private Banking and for commercial property investment firm Unibail-Rodamco.
Georg Allendorf, head of Real Estate for Europe at Deutsche AM, said: “Since Daniel joined the company, he has been involved in some of our most important affairs, as it was the launch of Socimi Trajano as well as of some of the highest transactions, for up to €1bn in value”.
According Deutsche AM’s forecast, Spain is among those countries that will experience higher profits increase in the next two years.
Deutsche AM managed €723bn of assets as of 31 March 2017.
