Paris headquartered La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) has announced changes in its management.
Maroussia Ermeneux (pictured) who was hiterto deputy chief operating officer succeeds Sébastien d’Ornano as chief operating officer.
D’Ornano is to leave the company, having spent 12 years within LFDE. He will join “an entrepreneurial project” within the asset management industry.
Ermeneux joined LFDE in 2013 after Acropole AM, where she has been COO and head of Risk and Compliance, was purchased by the firm.
She started her career in 1997 as an M&A analyst and auditor at Ernst&Young before joining PwC in New York in 1999 where she conducted missions on financial markets.
In 2002, Ermeneux moved to Geneva as an auditor and five years later, joined HSBC Private Bank as an associate director overseeing passive and active asset management then private clients’ mandates.
Bertrand Merveille has been named head of Private Management. He was formerly head of Compliance. Elsa Scoury will replace him.
Merveille joined LFDE in 2011 from the French market regulator AMF, where he headed the investment service providers’ department.
Scoury has spent four years at PwC as an auditor in the asset management sector before joining LFDE in 2015.
La Financière de l’Echiquier has €8bn in assets under management.
