Havelock London, a relatively new manager, has launched its Global Select fund using Link Asset Services as the authorised fund manager (AFM).
The fund will rely on data and technology – described by Havelock as ‘augmented intelligence’ – to apply a proprietary ‘quantamental’ system for selecting some 25-50 stocks for the portfolios. The process is bottom up focused rather than top down, the manager said.
Havelock was set up by former Winton colleagues Matthew Beddall (CEO at Havelock), Kate Land (chief data scientist at Havelock) and Alisdair Wren (COO at Havelock). They have been joined by Neil Carter (chief commercial officer at Havelock) who was previously at Jupiter.
