Kneip, the business that publishes daily net asset values, data points, Kiids and AIFMD reports for fund managers, has hired Patrick Hilt and Lauri Paal to its team of digital experts, as it seeks to build its digital offering to both the investment and insurance industries.
Hilt previously was chief technology officer at Miracl, while Paal joins from Microsoft, where he headed the global Skype for Business and Skype Business Development team.
At Kneip, Hilt will be chief technology officer, responsible for overseeing technology developments. Paal will be chief product officer, with a brief to help grow the reach of its services.
Kneip said it produces 270,000 daily NAVs, some 1.7 million static and 3.2 million dynamic data points monthly for over 12,500 funds, and produces and files 150,000 Kiids and 8,000 AIFMD reports.
It said it provides data management and reporting solutions to over 400 asset managers and insurers globally.
Lee Godfrey, CEO of Kneip, said the appointments would aid the company’s targets, including to facilitate efficiency among its user base.
