AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has appointed Michael Ganske as head of Emerging Markets Fixed Income.
Based in London, he will report into Chris Iggo, CIO Fixed Income.
Ganske will lead a global team of 10 investment professionals based in London, Paris and Hong Kong, managing around €5bn of EM and Asian debt, across three flagship mutual funds and several segregated institutional mandates.
Ganske joins from Rogge Global Partners where he was a partner and head of Emerging Markets.
Formerly, he was a managing director and divisional head of EM Research at Commerzbank (2007-2013) and a director and head of EM at Deka Investment GmbH (2004-2007).
He has also been vice president and EM fixed income portfolio manager at DWS Investments, Deutsche Bank Group (2000-2004).
