French group Amundi has appointed Cyril Meilland as head of Investors Relations in the prospect of Amundi’s initial public offering.
Meilland joins from Kepler Cheuvreux where he was head of Banks Team within the European equity research division.
Prior to this, he led investor relations at BNP Paribas between 2008 and 2010. He also worked as senior equity analyst for Lehman Brothers and Cheuvreux.
Meilland started his career in 1993 at Banque Indosuez (now known as CACIB) in the finance department, as deputy head, Consolidation & International Accounting.
Amundi will be listed by the end of the year. Philippe Brassac, CEO of Credit Agricole SA, Amundi’s major shareholder, said the value of the asset manager would reach at least €7bn for an IPO.
