Spain’s asset manager Tressis has launched Tressis Cartera Sostenible ISR FI, a fund of funds with SRI criteria.
Tressis Cartera Sostenible ISR FI (Tressis Sustainable Portfolio SRI in English) will invest in funds of global and national managers with an equity exposure from 0 to 50% and an exposure to fixed income of up to 100%.
The new strategy – to be distributed across OCDE countries (mainly from Europe and the US) and in emerging markets with a 50% maximum exposure – aims at reaching €50m in assets under management during the first year.
With this fund Tressis – which started offering SRI portfolios in 2014 – reinforces its bet on investment vehicles that allow clients to obtain profitability while investing their money with sustainability criteria.
Ignacio Perea, investment director at Tressis, says: “This investment strategy bornt from the growing demand of investors who believe – as we do – that is posible to align profitability with SRI principles. Spanish investors are increasingly betting on a sustainable economy, thus we prefer to invest our money in those strategies which can be profitable while take into account social, environmental and corporate governance criteria.
“In addition, the fund’s participants will have access to a report in which the fund’s social impact will be outlined.”
