Hawksmoor, the investment managers with offices in Exeter and Ipswich, has strengthened its business development team with the recruitment of Robin O’Grady as director of Business Development.
O’Grady will be reunited with his former colleagues from Williams de Broë, Henry Rising, Jim Wood-Smith and Jill Gill. O’Grady has 35 years experience of marketing fund and investment management services, particularly to financial advisers.
Commenting on the news, Hawksmoor’s Chief Executive John Crowley said: “We are delighted that O’Grady is joining Hawksmoor. He is a very popular and well-known marketing professional, particularly in the South and South West, and he brings to Hawksmoor a wealth of knowledge and experience of the adviser community.
“Together with Dan Constable, our head of Business Development, Robin will help Hawksmoor to reinforce our presence and reputation as we enter a period of rapid growth. Robin’s recruitment underlines our absolute commitment to the professional adviser market at a time of huge opportunity for the financial services profession.”
Robin O’Grady said: “I’m very much looking forward to joining Hawksmoor on 9 February. I’m hugely impressed by their people and by their offering, both in terms of services, support and risk-aware performance. I’m particularly looking forward to working with both Dan and my old colleagues again.”
