Spain’s A&G Private Banking has expanded its team with the appointment of three senior private bankers for its Madrid office and one for Barcelona.
Juan José Povedano and Luis Echegoyen join A&G Madrid from KBL European Private Bankers, where they had worked as senior private bankers for the past three years. With over 18 and 17 years’ experience respectively, they previously worked at various companies including Barclays, BNP Paribas, Fibanc, Deutsche Bank, Banco Espírito Santo, Novo Banco and Banco Urquijo.
Pilar Enríquez, who also joins A&G Madrid office, comes from the key clients department of Andbank, where she worked for the last three years. With some 18 years’ experience in the private banking sector, Enríquez has spent most of her career working at Barclays (12 years). She started her path at Banco Zaragozano.
Enrique Bassas joins the firm’s office in Barcelona. During his 16 years’ experience in the industry, Bassas worked for different global and local companies including UBS Wealth Management and Banca March.
A&G, with more than €9.2bn in AuM, has more than 170 employees and 76 bankers working for its offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Santander, Sevilla, Valladolid, Valencia and Luxembourg.
