Kames Capital switches fixed income managers

David Roberts, head of fixed income, and Phil Milburn, head of fixed income strategy are leaving Kames Capital, to be replaced by Stephen Snowden and Adrian Hull as co-heads of fixed income, with immediate effect.
Snowden is head of credit, while Hull is senior fixed income investment specialist.
Snowden continues as co-manager of the Kames Absolute Return Bond Fund together with Colin Finlayson, and continues alongside Euan McNeil on the Investment Grade Bond and Investment Grade Bond funds.
Juan Valenzuela will become co-manager of the Kames Strategic Global Bond fund – where Roberts and Milburn were co-managers. Valenzuela will continue to co-manage the Kames Strategic Bond fund alongside Alex Pelteshki. Colin Finlayson will be support manager on both funds, with additional support from Jack Holmes.
Iain Buckle continues as co-manager of the Sterling Corporate Bond fund – where Roberts was a co-manager. He will be joined by Rory Sandilands as co-manager.
David Ennett and Stephen Baines will continue to run the Kames High Yield Bond fund – where Milburn was co-manager. Ennett will be joined by Jack Holmes as co-manager of the High Yield Global Bond fund – where Milburn was also a co-manager.
“The changes will have no impact on the funds’ investment process, strategy or direction as Kames employs a team based approach to all of its funds,” the manager stated.
