Cederic van Kerrebroek is joining KNG Securities’ fixed income team from Deutsche Bank, to help develop its coverage of the Benelux region.
KNG said van Kerrebroek’s experience would also assist in strengthening its structured notes business.
His most recent work was as a Eurobondtrader responsible for bonds and structured notes at Deutsche Bank’s Belgian operations.
Previously he was a product manager heading the development of structured products across a range of asset classes.
The appointment comes two weeks after KNG appointed Armando La Morgia to its fixed income team to build the firm’s presence in the structured finance market. It is the business’ ninth hire in the last three months, whch KNG said highlights its continued ability to take advantage of the migration of experienced executives from bulge bracket firms to client-focused, specialist platforms.
Andrea Podesta, head of Fixed Income at KNG Securities, said: “Cedric’s experience will be crucial both in developing KNG’s geographical footprint in the Benelux region and for our structured notes business, which is one of our primary areas of expertise.”
“We are witnessing a significant shift in the structure of the market as clients increasingly favour working with smaller, specialist firms such as ourselves. Cedric’s move, directly from Deutsche Bank, highlights the appeal this approach has to top industry talent and underlines our growing stature in the capital markets.”
