Mediobanca Private Banking has appointed four private bankers to join a division led by Angelo Viganò currently formed by 87 professionals.
Emanuele Frigerio joins Mediobanca Private Banking from the London unit of Citigroup, where he worked during almost 20 years holding different senior positions including the last he held as the firm’s investment counsellor for Italy. At Citigroup, Frigerio specialised on family offices and UHNWI.
Marco Lamberti joins Mediobanca Private Banking from the private bank division of Citi, where since 2013 he has been responsible for the UHNM clients focusing on private equity asset management. Prior to that, Lamberti worked as an equity research analyst at Falcon Money Management based in London, and as an equity trader at Bolsa de Barcelona.
Francesco Scollo joins from the private unit of Credit Suisse Italy. Before, he worked at various companies including Banco Ambrosiano Veneto, Banca MPS Private Banking, Banca Steinhauslin, and IntesaBci Private Banking.
Marco Travia joins Mediobanca Private Banking from JP Morgan, where based in London he focused on alternative investments, responsible for private equity, private debt and Ucits alternatives portfolios. Travia previously worked at Cheyne Capital and at Permal Group.
The four appointments are part of Mediobanca private banking division’s growth plans, aimed at adding around 30 bankers to the team as well as increasing its assets under management by €6bn over the next three years.
