Natixis’ boutique DNCA Investments has appointed Pierre Pincemaille as European equities manager.
Pincemaille joins the absolute return team headed by Cyril Freu where he will work alongside Mathieu Picard, Boris Bourdet and Wladimir Poux on absolute return funds. His focus will be on the energy sector.
Pincemaille joins from BNP Paribas where he spent nine years. He was in charge of the Best Select funds’ range in Euro and in the eurozone.
Prior to that, he has been five years with Ixis Asset Management where he managed the European equity fund mandates of French insurance group CNP. He also launched and managed a value equity fund and headed financial analysis in energy and basic goods.
Pincemaille started his career in 1998 at BPGI as European equities manager, focusing on energy and chemicals sectors. He was also in charge of managing mandates.
DNCA Investments has currently around €20bn in assets under management.
