Investment funds attracted a net SEK7bn (€844m in January as investors put more money into equity funds while withdrawing from bond funds, the Swedish Investment Fund Association says.
Total industry assets rose by some SEK12bn to end the month at SEK3.58trn (€377bn) – a new high.
On a net basis, equity funds attracted some SEK8bn through the month, balanced funds SEK2bn, but money market and bond funds saw outflows of SEK2.3bn and SEK1.5bn respectively.
Sweden and global equity funds saw the biggest net inflows. However also noted in the latest industry figures is that index funds accounted for a large share of the total net inflow to equity funds, said Fredrik Pettersson, chief analyst.
