UBS Global Asset Management has listed its first multi-asset ETF on Italy’s stock exchange Borsa Italiana. To list the new instrument, Borsa Italiana opened a third segment under the ETFPlus.
The UBS-ETF MAP Balanced 7 Ucits ETF, which is already listed in Zurich and Frankfurt, will allow investors to invest at the same time in the main asset classes globally, including: fixed income, equities, commodities and cash.
The Ucits-compliant ETF offers investors the opportunity to have exposure to multiple asset classes with volatility of maximum 7% thanks to its Multi Asset Portfolio (MAP) strategy, which applies risk parity principles.
Simone Rosti (pictured), head of Italy at UBS ETF, commented: “The multi-asset approach, when applied systematically and through a well structured, transparent investment process, brings interesting risk-adjusted returns in different market conditions.
“This is why the UBS-ETF MAP Balanced 7 Ucits ETF suits well investors looking for capital appreciation and willing to tolerate a medium level of volatility.”
