Frankfurt-headquartered MainSky Asset Management has appointed Thomas Hopf as head of Sales.
Hopf joins from AXA Investment Managers, where he spent 13 years in charge of Institutional Sales for the German market, covering distribution to banks, multi manager / fund of funds and family offices. Prior to that, he worked among others at UBS and LGT Asset Mangement.
His hire follows the appointment of Falk Strascheg and Mathias Lindermeir from Munich-based family office Extorel. MainSky rebranded in 2016 as part of a management buyout, it was previously called G&P Instiutional Management. At the time of writing, MainSky AM has €620m in assets under management.
