Indosuez Wealth Management, part of French financial group Crédit Agricole, has appointed Jacques Prost (pictured) as chief executive officer, effective 18 June 2018, the firm has announced.
A member of Crédit Agricole’s management committee, Prost has been deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank since 2013 where he supervised global markets and financing activities.
Prost joined Crédit Agricole in 2000 as head of Structured Finance for Corporate and Investment Banking in Italy before becoming head of the Real Estate and Hotels unit in Paris in 2008.
In 2011, he was named head of Global Structured Finance.
Prost began his career in the corporate department of Crédit Lyonnais in London in 1986 and later joined Banque Paribas, where he held a number of positions in the European real estate finance and project finance divisions.
Indosuez Wealth Management had €118bn in assets under management as of end December 2017.
