Vontobel AM appoints head of corporate bond team
Mondher Bettaieb has been appointed to the new position of head of Corporate Bonds at Vontobel Asset Management. The portfolio manager is a founding member of the corporate-bond team and a key contributor to the performance and the growth of this product line in the past few years.
Bettaieb, who joined Vontobel Asset Management in 2010, is responsible for the flagship Vontobel Fund – EUR Corporate Bond Mid Yield.
He has over 20 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Vontobel, he worked at AXA Investment Managers in London as a credit strategist. He also worked at Swisscanto Asset Management, Winterthur Asset Management and was a credit-research analyst in London for 11 years.
Vontobel’s Fixed Income boutique with assets amounting to CHF10bn focuses on three product lines: Global & Swiss Bonds, Corporate Bonds and Emerging Markets Bonds. The boutique’s organisational setup facilitates an exchange of knowledge between our 14 investment professionals that bring an average of 15 years of experience to the table.
