Norwegian manager Skagen has announced the departure of Erik Bergöö from the management team of the Skagen Vekst portfolio.
Bergöö is taking up a portfolio manager position with AP Møller Holding in Copenhagen. This leaves lead managers Ole Søeberg and Geir Tjetland along with junior portfolio manager Alexander Stensrud overseeing the Vekst portfolio. The fund currently has some NOK7.3bn (€778m) of assets under management, invested in companies globally.
In June this year, AP Møller Holding saw the appointment of a new CEO – Robert Uggla – to manage the holding and investment company of the AP Møller Foundation. Through a 51.23% voting share, the Holding company controls Danish conglomerate Maersk.
