Fund distribution consultant accelerando associates has appointed two managing partners as it seeks to build both existing business and a new entity serving asset managers and private wealth managers in recruitment.
Daniel Pierce has been promoted to co-managing partner from his earlier senior partner role, which he has held since joining the firm in 2016. Previously, he worked as an investment management specialist covering Emea for Wells Fargo in London. He has also worked at Citi and Smith Barney.
Stephan Volkmann has joined as managing partner of accelerando people, a new separate legal entity intended to provide recruitment services to asset managers and private wealth managers. He joins from Morningstar, where he was head of sales Germany & Austria. Before that he worked at Fidelity and WestLB.
Philip Kalus (pictured), managing partner, remains focused on the core business of research and strategic advice on European fund distribution.
