JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has appointed Paul Levene as Capital Structure analyst in the Convertible Bonds and Capital Structure team within in the Global Multi Asset Solutions Group.
Based in London, Levene will be responsible for analysis of global companies. He will look across asset classes, including equities, debt and convertible bonds, for high conviction ideas globally.
Commenting on his appointment, Antony Vallee, head of the Convertible Bonds and Capital Structure Team and Portfolio Manager, JP Morgan funds – Global Capital Structure Opportunities fund, said: “Paul’s extensive expertise in looking holistically at high yield credit instruments will greatly enhance our unconstrained approach to identifying exposure that offers the best risk/reward profile within the capital structure of the highest conviction companies.”
Levene previously served as a Senior Analyst at Ferox Capital LLP, a Convertible Bond manager since 2008, where he was responsible for identifying investment ideas in EMEA and Asia.
Before that, he was a Special Situations Analyst in Leveraged Finance at Credit Suisse and a High Yield Research Analyst at JP Morgan.
