Antonella Manganelli, portfolio manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, is set to to take part in InvestmentEurope’s Fund Selector Summit in Milan on 13 November.
Manganelli will focus on the balancing act facing investors, who are seeking yield on the one hand, but need to weigh this against the risks they face on the other.
What is required, Manganelli argues, is a flexible approach, particularly to fixed income investments. Investors will need to consider allocating capital to sectors within fixed income that offer attractive risk-adjusted return potential, but limit exposure to unactractive sectors, while managing duration risk.
Antonella joined Goldman Sachs Asset Management in 2009 and is currently a member of the Global Fixed Income Portfolio Management team, focusing on corporate credit.
Previously, Antonella spent four years with Morgan Stanley, working in the Investment Management and Private Wealth Management divisions.
