Copenhagen-headquartered Danske Bank has appointed Ulrika Hasselgren as head of Responsible Investment, effective 1 February 2018.
She reports to Henrik Gade Jepsen, head of Danske Bank Asset Management and will develop the strong responsible investment policy of Danske Bank.
Hasselgren was formerly global head of Responsible Investment Strategy and ESG Integration at Institutional Shareholders Services. Prior to that, she has been the chief executive officer and founding partner of Stockholm-based company Ethix SRI Advisors where she advised institutional investors in sustainable and responsible investment and which was sold to ISS in September 2015
Danske Bank’s new head of Responsible Investment also sits within the eligibility committee of the LuxFlag ESG label.
