Generali RE appoints new CEO

Italy’s Generali Real Estate has appointed Christian Delaire as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

The real estate arm of the Generali Group announced the arrival of Delaire as CEO of its headquarter offices in Trieste, north-east of Italy, the local trade press reported.

Delaire, 46, joins Generali RE from AEW Europe, where he has been working as top manager since 2009. Prior to that, he was global CIO at AXA and had previously been at KPMG since 1994.
