Lazard Asset Management has appointed Daniela Weissenborn as head of Third Party Sales for Germany and Austria, effective 1 January 2019.
She succeeds Josef Scarfone, who left the company after four and a half years for personal reasons at the end of August 2018.
Weissenborn joins from Metzler Asset Management, where she will be responsible for combined institutional and wholesale sales until the end of the year as head of Banks, Asset Managers and Family Offices in Europe. Her tasks include the strategic support of customers with regard to public and special funds.
With more than 20 years of experience in private and institutional client business, Weissenborn has worked at Threadneedle Portfolio Services, Allianz Global Investors and Commerzbank.
