Spain’s Tressis has announced it is opening a new office in Las Palmas (The Canary Islands) in a move aimed at consolidating its presence in the archipelago where it already had an office.
The new branch, located in 19 Rafael Cabrera Avenue in Las Palmas, will be led by Manuel Hernández, partner of Tressis Gran Canaria. Hernández (pictured), who joined Tressis in 2014, has an extensive experience in the industry having previously worked in various entities including Banco Popular and Banco Santander.
The Canary Islands is the Spanish region where Tressis has been longer present, having landed there in 2002. According to the entity, this new office reveals the growth path followed by Tressis in the area, where it aims at being considered a reference for private banking.
Manuel Hernández said: “We are very excited with this new launch. Being able to offer tailored and independent asset management services to our clients is the way we understand the private banking business.”
