La Financière de l'Echiquier (LFDE)continues its expansion spree across Europe with the launch of an office in Madrid (Spain).
Following the launch, Mathias Blandin, who is currently responsible for the firm's business development in Iberia, will move from Paris to Madrid to continue developing his role locally. He joined the firm in 2012 and will now be responsible for contributing to the firm's development in Portugal too.
La Financière currently manages some €350m in assets in Spain, where it landed eight years ago.
The French manager is an independent boutique with 27 years' history and around €10.6bn of AuM. It was launched by Didier Le Menestrel and Christian Gueugnier in 1991 and apart from Spain, the firm is present in Portugal, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Benelux.
Christophe Mianné, LFDE's general director, said: "Spain is a market offering great opportunities, especially in the institutional segment. We will offer a unique service to our clients".
