Net redemptions from Finnish domiciled funds hit €3.9bn for the full year 2018, according to data reported by Investment Research Finland.
Bond funds saw redemptions of €2.4bn, equity funds €1.9bn.
Together with market movements, total industry assets fell to €110.1bn by the end of 2018, from €116.2bn at the end of 2017.
Nordea funds retained a 40.1% market share. OP Fund Management Company had 20.5%, and Danske Invest Fund Management 8.7%.
Just six asset managers attracted net subscriptions over the year, the data suggests: Alexandria Fund Management Company, eQ Fund Management Company, Evli Fund Mgmt Company, Sp-Rahastoyhtiö Oy, Aurejärvi Wealth Management, Helsinki Capital Partners and UB Rahastoyhtiö Oy.
Asset classes attracting net subscriptions included North America, Japan, Pacific and Global equities, and global government and investment grade bonds. Most other asset classes saw redemptions.
