Lupus Alpha has appointed Götz Albert, long-serving partner and head of Portfolio Management Small & Mid Caps, as a member of the executive board.
Matthias Biedenkapp, founding partner and the former executive board member responsible for Information Technology, has left the Company as part of the sale of IT subsidiary Lupus alpha Business Solutions (labs) to Universal Investment on 31 December 2018.
From now on, Lupus alpha's three-member executive board consists of Ralf Lochmüller, founding partner and CEO, Michael Frick, Partner and CFO, and Götz Albert, partner and CIO.
Within the executive board, Albert will serve as chief investment officer (CIO) with responsibility for Portfolio Management, Research and Analysis. Lochmüller is responsible for the Strategy & Planning, Clients & Markets and Human Resources departments. The areas of Financial & Risk Management and Information Technology are the responsibility of Frick as chief financial officer (CFO).
Lupus alpha's four-member executive committee remains responsible for managing the company's operations. In addition to the three Executive Board members, this committee also includes partner Alexander Raviol, who has been head of Portfolio Alternative Solutions since 2011.
