AXA Investment Managers has appointed Xavier Lattaignant as head of the firm's Convertible Bonds Strategy.
Lattaignant, whose appointment will be made effective on 4 of March, will be responsible for leading AXA's convertible bonds strategy as well as co-managing the Framlington Global Convertibles fund, alongside Alexandre Fade. He will be based in Paris and will report to Matthew Lovatt, global head of Framlington Equities.
With over 20 years'investment experience as both a fund manager and analyst of convertible bonds as well as alternative investments/hedge fund strategies, Lattaignant joins AXA IM from SCOR Investment Partners where he was head of Convertible Bonds Funds since 2011.
Xavier Lattaignant and the convertible bonds investment team will continue to leverage on the expertise of the European and Global Equity teams based in Paris and London, and will also work with the credit and the Investment Analytics teams, the company said.
