Credit Suisse (CS) has appointed Lionel Pilloud as the head of independent asset managers in the French-speaking region.
He joins from Vontobel, where he most recently managed asset management in the francophone markets and the Middle East.
Pilloud will report to Dominik Münchbach, head of the EAM business and succeeds Jean-Christophe Hugon, who becomes chief operating officer and chief of staff for the Suisse Romandy region.
Based in Geneva, Pilloud will be responsible for CS growth locally with services for independent asset managers and multi-family offices.
He started his career with private bank Pictet and since 2001 with Zurich based Vontobel.
