Diaphanum SV has appointed Mariano Aldama as private banker to bolster the firm's office in Madrid.
Aldama, who brings over 30 years' private banking experience to the role, joins Diaphanum from Lombard Odier, where he was a private banker for the last three years.
Prior to that, he held various senior positions at firms includingDresdner Kleinwort Benson, where he was managing director and global markets head Iberia; at Deutsche Bank, where he was also managing director and head of Debt Capital Markets Spain; at UBS Spain, where he was head of Debt Capital Markets Spain and managing director; and at RBS, as managing director and head of Debt Capital Markets Spain.
He started his career at the Corporate Finance and Global Markets area of JP Morgan, where he served for a decade.
Diaphanum SV, with offices in Madrid, Alicante and Bilbao, has over 40 employees and four financial agents.
