A&G Private Banking keeps expanding its business with the opening of a new office in Leon (a Spanish city located in the Northwest of the country), raising to seven the number of branches the firm has across Spain.
Madrid, Barcelona, Santander, Sevilla, Valladolid and Valencia are the other six offices. The firm also has an office in Luxembourg.
A&G, which has a network of 72 bankers, has added two more to work in the new office. Sylvia Merino and Francisco García join the Leon branch from the Luxembourgish bank KBL. With over 25 years' experience in the asset management industry, the two bankers have had parallel professional careers. Both began working in the industry at AB Asesores Bursátiles, and later, moved to Morgan Stanley and Dean Witter, where they worked for the firms' financial planning departments. After this, they founded and co-led the private banking division of Caja España, where they spent 12 years leading a team of 20 private bankers.
