Munich based private bank Merkur has entered into discussions with Bankhaus Schilling, headquarted in Hammelburg, on the acquisition of significant parts of the banking business.
Merkur Bank KGaA has entered into discussions with Bank Schilling & Co Aktiengesellschaft in Hammelburg on the acquisition of significant parts of the banking business.
With this move Merkur Bank intends not only to consistently pursue its growth strategy, but also to expand its market position with foresight. Bank Schilling plans on maintaining its owner-led tradition. Fundamental cornerstones have been agreed by both parties.
The acquisition is subject to successful completion of the audit, final settlement and required approvals.
