Frankfurt based Lupus Alpha has named Franz Führer as the company's new partner. Führer has been with the company since October 2001 and specialises in small and mid caps. He is responsible for the small caps fund Lupus Alpha All Opportunities.
The appointment of Führer takes place in the framework of the partnership corporate concept, whose aim is to involve top performers at the partner level in the company development.
In addition to the Executive Committee members Götz Albert, Michael Frick, Ralf Lochmüller and Alexander Raviol, a total of five other long-standing employees are now partners at Lupus Alpha.
Führer has been with Lupus Alpha since starting his career. Prior to that he was with HypoVereinsbank and Invesco Asset Management during his studies. At Lupus alpha, he developed the concept for the Lupus alpha All Opportunities, a long-short fund that he has managed since inception in January 2008. The average performance is 7.6 percent per year.
