Mathias Schütz has been appointed as country head for Switzerland and the principality of Liechtenstein at Avaloq as of mid-August. He also assumes the role of CEO for Avaloq Sourcing (Switzerland & Liechtenstein) AG, the Swiss service center of the Avaloq Group.
As the new global head of Sales, Marc Stähli joins Avaloq on 1 July 2019. Stähli and Schütz will report to Paco Hauser, head of Global Markets at Avaloq.
Schütz will be responsible for the home market of the world's leading fintech company. In addition, as CEO of Avaloq Sourcing (Switzerland & Liechtenstein) AG, he will continue to expand the company's leading position in SaaS (Software as a Service) and BPaaS (Business Process as a Service). He will benefit from his experience as CEO of Arizon Sourcing AG, where he and his team have introduced a modern and scalable Avaloq platform for Raiffeisen Switzerland. He previously worked for Avaloq, including responsibility for various international market regions.
Schütz succeeds Tobias Unger, who has decided to leave the company. Unger will support Schütz in a transitional phase for a smooth handover.
As the new global head of Sales, Stähli will lead the worldwide sales organization in a newly created role. He has been co-managing the growth of Crealogix AG for the last four years as senior vice president of Global Sales and is now supporting the global Avaloq sales organisation.
