Former Hermes GPE fund finance team manager Richard Templer has been appointed finance director at co-investment platform Astarte Capital Partners, with former vice president of Asset and Capital Structuring for Santander Corporate and Investment Banking in London Bruno Fumach appointed as investment director.
Templer (left) worked in a finance role at AMP Capital on the Global Infrastructure funds before joining Astarte, and before that held the role at Hermes GPE working across private equity and infrastructure fund structures. He also has experience working on infrastructure and property finance at Deutsche Bank.
Fumach's previous experience includes working in Brazil at Santander, as well as in the Project Finance team at Santander UK, where he focused
on infrastructure projects and acquisition financing in the UK and northern Europe. Before Santander, he worked at Itaú BBA in São Paulo, in the Structure Finance team.
Both join the London office of Astarte, which provides institutional capital access to non traditional property strategies through its Europe, North America and Australia presence. In the past five years its team has grown to include more than 20 investment professionals from 11 countries, based in London, Zurich, Sydney, Tornoto and New York.
