Quilter Cheviot, the UK discretionary investment business of Quilter plc, has appointed Nick Holmes as managing director to support the firm's ongoing growth strategy and drive a number of new initiatives.
He joins from Brooks Macdonald where he has spent his entire career to date, starting as an trainee investment manager 22 years ago, and rising through the ranks to become managing director; leading the investment management business between 2008 and 2018.

This marks the latest in a string of appointments announced in 2019; to day some 14 investment mangaers have joined Quilter Cheviot across 10 of its offices in the UK, Jersey and Ireland. a 14th office will open in Leeds. Total assets managed are some £24.1bn (€26bn).
