Santalucía AM, the asset management division of the Spanish insurer Santalucía, has appointed Beatriz Franganillo responsible for institutional sales to the firm's commercial and marketing department led by Eustaquio Arrimadas.
Franganillo has 14 years' experience in the financial industry, having held various roles related to asset management and financial advisory at entities including the Spanish regulator CNMV, the Iberian asset manager Renta 4 or the advisory firm Capitalia Familiar. She joins Santalucía AM from Acacia Inversión, where she was responsible for the firm's office in Madrid.
Eustaquio Arrimadas, commercial and marketing director at Santalucía AM, said: "Franganillo's appointment will enable us to continue looking for growth opportunities in the institutional space while reinforcing the firm's position in a sector we consider strategic and with a high potential."
Santalucía AM was set up in 2000 by the Spanish insurance group Santalucía. The firm manages €1.7bn in assets and €3bn in mandates of pension plans.
