Credit Suisse has hired Kinner Lakhani as head of Group Strategy & Development. Based in Zurich, Lakhani will report into Tidjane Thiam, chief executive officer.
Lakhani brings with him considerable experience across wealth and asset management, investment banking and the wider financial sector.
He will work closely with divisions and corporate functions as the bank drives incremental growth, assess opportunities to further expand its global footprint and continue to deliver an integrated approach to client coverage.
Lakhani joins from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of European Company Research & Advisory, as well as head of European Financials Research, having joined the bank from Citigroup in 2015, where he was co-head of the European Banks Research team. He has covered the banking sector for more than two decades, with previous roles at ABN Amro and Morgan Stanley.
