Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) has expanded its team in Spain with the appointment of Jaime de Motta to its wealth management unit in the country.
De Motta will be responsible for wealth-acquisition and advisory functions, carrying out a thorough analysis of each client's profile, needs and investment goals.
The experienced private banker joins Mirabaud from CaixaBank, where since 2015 he has been director of the firm's private banking unit. Previously, he had held the same position at Barclays Bank in Madrid, appointed in 2004. Prior to that, he worked as a personal adviser of financial products at ING.
Francisco Gómez-Trenor, general director of Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) in Spain, said: "The proven and successful professional background of De Motta, with over 20 years' experience in private banking and asset management, makes of him a highly valuable professional for our clients."
De Motta also commented: "I feel fully identified with Mirabaud's business philosophy, based on the principles of tailored investment strategies for its clients, offering an integral service with long-term horizon investment views."
