IWBank Private Investments, the private banking unit of UBI Banca, has appointed financial adviser veteran Carlo Bagnasco as a network and institutional relationship manager.
Bagnasco has played a key role in the financial advisory sector in Italy since 1968, being considered by many as one of the profession's founder in the country. He was one of the founding members of the Italian association for financial advisers Anasf in 1977 becoming a member of its executive committee in 1985. Also, from 1994 to 2002, he was the president of the Italian association and in 2015 was re-elected to its national council.
The industry veteran joins now IWBank from Finanza & Futuro, where he has been working for around 15 years. He previously worked at the former Divalsim, today Allianz, and at Rasbank.
Dario Di Muro, general director of IWBank Private Investments, said: "Carlo Bagnasco has greatly contributed to give public relevance and profesional identity to the figure of the then "financial promoter".
"We believe that Carlo's experience and knowledge will give a meaningful boost to our future growth, allowing us to also establish profitable collaborations with the institutional leaders."
